Fill in the Blank Friday!

I like to link up when I want to blog but can't think of anything to say. ;)

1. I am currently obsessed with Caroline Reehl pottery.  It's a little pathetic how excited I am to be getting my very own piece for my birthday!  Seriously, though.  Check out the post before this one - it's gorgeous, isn't it?  And soooo totally my style.

2. Today I am stressed  because I have my first big writing assignment of the semester ("Memorandum of Points and Authorities in Opposition to Petitioners' Motion for Summary Judgment") due on Monday.  And what do I plan on doing tomorrow instead of chaining myself to my desk until it's finished?  Why, I'm going to the Garden and Flower Show at the convention center!  After three floral scented hours and a lunch with my mama, then I'm going to chain myself to my desk.

3. The age I am is 22 and the age I feel is 23.  But that's only because my birthday is in less than a month.  I've already started referring myself to 23.  I'm actually really excited about my birthday, because I feel...grown.  I'm not fully mature yet, but like the little daffodils and hyacinths popping out of my flowerbed, I'm getting ready to bloom!

4. My favorite place is my bed.  I love it.  I'm in it right now.  It's luxurious without being stuffy, cozy and comfy, and so perfectly me.  It's a little bit worn around the edges, like me, but also like me (I hope), its imperfections make it all the more wonderful.

5. Something I have been procrastinating is my writing assignment.  Eeps!  I did manage to work out the organization today and that's always where I struggle.  So hopefully the words will just flow from my fingers as quickly as this blog post did!

6. The last thing I purchased was lunch yesterday.  The day before yesterday, I forgot to tell the woman behind the counter that I wanted a coke.  She had already swiped my card, but told me to go ahead and get it.  "You can pay tomorrow," she said.  Tomorrow came yesterday, and I told the other woman who works the lunch cart that she needed to charge me for two drinks.  In a perfect example of karma, my contracts professor overheard my honesty and warned me that my name was up on the list of people to call on.  So I got some warning to be sure to be prepared for Tuesday.  KARMA!

7. The thing I love most about my home is my privacy.  I've never lived alone until this year, and it's wonderful.  I can have dance parties in my underwear, belt Taylor Swift anytime I want, and take long baths without worrying anyone but Lilly is going to bust in on me.  Perfection!

I hope all of you had a wonderful week and wish you an enchanted weekend!

xoxo!
